Q: What is this product?
A lipid-replacement concentrate designed for skin that has changed during perimenopause and menopause. It supplies ceramides, cholesterol, and fatty acids — the same categories of lipids your skin produces less of when estrogen declines.
Q: Why did my moisturizer stop working?
During perimenopause, estrogen levels drop and your skin's lipid production slows significantly. Most moisturizers rely on humectants (like hyaluronic acid and glycerin) that draw in water — but without a healthy lipid barrier to hold that water in, it evaporates. The issue isn't your moisturizer. It's what your skin stopped making underneath it.
Q: Is this a hormone product?
No. This is a topical cosmetic product. It does not contain hormones, phytoestrogens, or any ingredients with estrogenic activity. It works by replacing the surface lipids your skin no longer produces at the same rate — not by stimulating production or mimicking hormones.
Q: Can I use this if I'm on HRT?
Yes. This product is a topical cosmetic that works at the skin's surface. It does not interact with hormone therapy. That said, if you have specific concerns, we always recommend checking with your healthcare provider.
Q: I've tried ceramide products before and they didn't help.
Most ceramide products on the market include ceramides as one ingredient among many, often in small amounts. What matters isn't just ceramides alone — it's the combination of ceramides, cholesterol, and free fatty acids together, which are the three lipid classes that make up your skin's barrier. A single-ingredient approach misses the full picture.
Q: Is it fragrance-free?
Yes. No fragrance, no essential oils, no perfume. Menopausal skin tends to be more reactive, and fragrance is one of the most common irritants. We left it out entirely.
Q: Where do I apply it?
Wherever your skin feels dry, tight, or has lost its resilience. It's designed for the face but can be used on other areas of concern.
Q: How do I use it?
Apply a small amount to clean skin, before your moisturizer. It layers under your existing routine — you don't have to replace anything.
Q: What are the ingredients?
Our core formula contains ceramides, cholesterol, and free fatty acids (barrier lipids), supported by niacinamide, squalane, glycerin, and multi-weight hyaluronic acid. A full ingredient list will be available on the product page.
